Frequently Asked Questions

What is Raze Vault?

Raze Vault is an institutional-grade blockchain investment platform that enables the creation, management, and distribution of structured financial products on-chain. It bridges traditional finance and DeFi by offering familiar investment structures within a secure, compliant blockchain environment.

How do I create an account?

Raze Vault uses a wallet-first approach. You connect your blockchain wallet (such as MetaMask) to the platform and sign a verification message. There is no traditional email/password registration. Your wallet address serves as your identity on the platform.

What is KYC and why is it required?

KYC (Know Your Customer) is a regulatory requirement that verifies your identity before you can invest. It involves submitting a government-issued ID and personal information. This process helps ensure the platform operates within applicable financial regulations and prevents unauthorized access.

What types of investments are available?

Raze Vault offers several vault categories: fixed yield vaults (predictable returns at a set rate), tiered yield vaults (multiple tiers with higher rates for longer commitments), compounding vaults (daily reinvestment of yields), and compute infrastructure vaults (long-term investments in computing resources).

What blockchain networks does Raze Vault support?

Raze Vault currently supports the XDC Network and the Redbelly Network. Vault products are deployed across both networks, and the platform provides a unified experience regardless of which chain a product is on.

Can I withdraw my investment early?

Investments in vaults with lock periods cannot be withdrawn before the lock period expires. The lock duration is clearly stated before you invest. Some long-term vaults (such as compute infrastructure) may offer buyout options at designated intervals, but this is vault-specific.

How are yields calculated?

Yield calculations depend on the vault type. Fixed yield vaults use simple interest. Tiered vaults use simple interest at the rate corresponding to your selected tier. Compounding vaults use daily compound interest. Compute infrastructure vaults follow scheduled distributions tied to the underlying asset's revenue.

Is my investment safe?

Raze Vault is designed with institutional-grade security including non-custodial wallet management, cryptographic authentication, and comprehensive compliance frameworks. However, like all investments, blockchain investments carry risk. Review the terms of each vault carefully before investing.

Can I invest using fiat currency?

Yes, select vault products on supported networks offer fiat deposit capabilities. This allows you to fund investments using traditional payment methods without needing to hold cryptocurrency in advance.

How do I track my investments?

The Portfolio Dashboard provides a consolidated view of all your active investments, including current value, accrued yields, projected returns, and time to maturity. It works across all networks and vault types.

What is the difference between an issuer and an investor?

An investor deposits funds into vault products to earn yields. An issuer creates and manages vault products — they define the terms, manage the lifecycle, and handle distributions. Platform administrators oversee the entire ecosystem.

What wallets are supported?

Raze Vault supports Ethereum-compatible wallets (like MetaMask), Solana wallets (like Phantom), Bitcoin wallets, and smart contract wallets (including multisig). The platform's wallet integration supports multiple blockchain ecosystems simultaneously.
